Great read. It was a great story. If you love romance with a little of danger you will love this book. Red riding hood for the modern age.
Lisa joins her veterinary friend Kenzie in the woods for some peace and quite so that she can write, chaos reigns very quickly. Neither lady knows about werewolves, but they need to be told quickly since it turns out Lisa is part werewolf and they are now in werewolf country surrounded by wolves. For the most part, I really enjoyed the book. I think the author pushed the male werewolves attacking Lisa a bit too much with her being brutaly attacked. The story is well written and the plot twists are great, just would like less violence.
This was a great book you can finish in one afternoon. I did. A nice quick read with great, well thought out characters and a nice plot. When 2 friends go into the woods to another friends cabin they're excited to get away for a few days but little do they know what's waiting for them. I was pleasantly surprised at the turn of events this book took and couldn't put it down. Another great book from an awesome author.
Who are Jim and George? How does Samantha know the two men? Who are Phillip, Kenzie, and Lisa? How do these three know one another if at all? Who is Osca and why is Kenzie excited he is in town? As I learned what was truly happening in the story, I grew angry for Lisa. As we learned more about who she is and where she comes from, with Noah's actions & then Caleb's with regards to Lisa, I wanted to kill them myself! At least one of them came to their senses. How and when? What ultimately happens? Read and see!
